Every year at this time the world comes alive again. The birds chirp, the flowers bloom, and out comes all the delicious spring apparel. Think the S’s of spring: sandals, shorts, sundresses, sunnies, and all the other glorious stuff you cannot wait to bring back out to play! It’s the prettiest part of the year as we, like the flowers, go from all the black and grey and layers to the beautiful blooms of pastel hues and the happiest of accessories. And like the first green bud breaking through and signifying the end of winter, there’s gingham, making its appearance and letting you know, the boots and scarves can be but away yet again.

So the real question is, as gratifying as it is to see those first glimpses of spring outside, why do our houses have to be any different? Gingham is definitely having a moment, but it is also a classic staple dating back to the 1700’s. So what better way to signify that spring has sprung in your own home than a few dashes of delicious gingham, that are both fresh and enduring classics?
