Epic Mural Project- Shipwreck Cove Waterpark

Hi friends! Mallory Treece Interiors has been pretty quiet on the ol' blog as of late for a number of reasons; particularly because the better part of my days are spent with this wonderful little person.

After getting back into the swing of things post baby, MTI has lots of fun design projects in the works that I cannot wait to share with you! We are working on projects big and small, and it feels so good to be back at it! On the art side of things, there have been some super fun live paintings for weddings and some big fat commissions, but nothing compares to this project. And I mean nothing! A few years back I was commissioned to do a couple of murals at Shipwreck Cove Waterpark in Duncan, South Carolina. I came, I saw, and I painted lots of piratey things. It was fun and challenging and all together a great experience. This year I was thrilled to be asked back to Shipwreck Cove to up the mural ante big time! The amazingly talented and generally awesome Megan Parlow, who I used to teach art with in my art teaching days, came on board and we rocked it. Megan straight up carried this project and totally killed it! Have we overdosed on everything pirate? Absolutely. Did we totally love it? YES!
